Bethlehem Night
That’s when it happened!”Benjamin felt a tingle move up his spine.
The new moon had completed nine circuits from the time of Gabriel’s visit…the journey on the rugged road, between Nazareth and Bethlehem, found Mary heavy with child.
The poignant memory of their forefathers’ humbling, achieved it’s dramatic effect…
The meteor, burst into view. Streaking across the velvety sky; It’s wake, a fiery tail of cascading embers.
Beads of sweat on Mary’s brow plastered wisps of hair to the sides of her face…the new life growing in her womb had no regard for their need of shelter…
Rome’s greed, and the lust for power of Caesar Augustus, had made him a useful instrument for God’s purposes.
