And so began, the dangerous journey of the Magi.
Upon returning to their homes and after much preparation, Gaspar, Melchior, and Balthazar rejoined to undertake the perilous journey.
The journey was long as their caravan, bearing gifts for a king, made the arduous trek to the land of the Jews, to its seat of power, Jerusalem.
They had a simple question for the Roman officials who greeted them at the city gates and offered to escort their impressive entourage to Herod’s palace.
“Where is He that is born King of the Jews?
We have seen his star in the East, and have come to worship Him!”
